Our Goal
We are English Interaction. Everybody has big dreams, and ours is connecting people through language especially those who have not the chance to practice face to face because of a lack of opportunities
Technology is the bridge for joining cultures, races, and finding new friends for working together. Finally, learning by doing and playing are our tools for promoting the acquisition of a foreign language. “Let´s try something different and learn together”.
Our Founder
Juan Prado a Colombian teacher who visualized the opportunity to create a site where learners from Colombia can practice their English skills in a real way by interacting among them and with people from other countries.
First Activity
Juan Prado at 2000 made the first face to face English Language Olympic Games at Maestra Vida Corporation.
A Project is Born
Interaction Virtual Exchange Project. The exchange has students interacting asynchronously in English as a lingua franca. The server on which it is based is maintained with financial assistance from a Japanese government Kaken omgomg tor grant and also with the assistance of Hosei University. Exchanges are carried out over 8 week periods using Moodle.

Renaissance
(www.englishinteraction.net) Was born as a project for using technology applied to education and the educator Alex Paredes started to promote some interactive material. It is the starting of English Interaction at that point Alex Paredes and Juan Prado used Blackboard LMS as the main resource for promoting interactive material Video.
Duris Duran
Duris Duran welcome. Colombian, Barranqueña, Master in Teaching English as a Foreign Language, Graduated in Spanish and Communication; enrolled in this wonderful project about a year ago, which allows the use of English as a foreign language to be a Dynamic and participatory process that integrates meaningful learning strategies..
Suzy Ferreira
Suzy Ferreira now belongs to our team. Colombian English teacher who is passionate about combining traditional grammar-based learning techniques with game-oriented approaches that makes language acquisition a pleasurable experience. She is convinced that students learn more when they enjoy the process, and one way is using games. She has more than 12 years of experience working with students of all ages. She appreciates students' efforts in spite of the difficulties.
SIU
English Interaction is an educational project for integrating technology in benefit of L2 learners. We use an LMS(Blackboard), WhatsApp, interactive learning activities and discussion boards for promoting the English language with learners.
Our goal is to motivate students to start their adventure with a new language.
Our dream is to have a learners’ international community for learning, practicing and sharing our cultures using a common language “English English”. Telecollaboration is one of our strategies for becoming this dream true.
We have a primary English level material for sharing with you. SIUC university opens its doors for having our first online international exchange
